Git2Go version 1.7 Release Notes
Welcome to Git2Go 1.7 The Merge Edition! We took some time to really nail this update for you while introducing a bunch of often requested features and fixing some nasty bugs.
NEW FEATURES IN THIS VERSION
You can now merge local branches into one another Way more convenient then merging on a computer!
Unfortunately, merging sometimes also means merge conflicts Git2Go now supports the recognition of merge conflicts and gives you a head up when you need it.
Spring is just around the corner and we thought a decent light theme is just the right thing to accommodate the welcomed brightness outside!
FIXES IN THIS VERSION
Syncing does no longer push when there is nothing to push
Display no longer goes to sleep when you clone a repository
Navigating to GitLab EE/GitHub Enterprise in Repositories would dismiss the view when you were logged out
Cloning from GitLab Enterprise no longer fails with custom SSH URL
Search no longer clears when you select a file/commit
Successful In-App Purchase now starts the download of the selected repository
Making an initial commit on a new repository no longer fails
Navigating to a file from a diff and watching it in FullScreen no longer makes the app unusable
You can now clone really big repositories and the app no longer crashes because it went out of memory
Commits list now clears when you select a repository
Cloned repositories view now calculates the directory size asynchronous and shows immediately
Title and body for commits are no longer shown twice in commit detail view
Added a privacy policy to the app
Swiping your way to SSH now also updates the navigation bar accordingly
Opened files are now reloaded properly when you switch branches
Opened files no longer override when edited from another app
Even though easter did just pass, we hid some extra eggs for you in the iOS settings for Git2Go Feel free to check them out!
We hope you like this update as much as we do and it brings you one step closer to become even more productive with Git without the need to use a computer.
