I know that awesome image you have in your head, jamming out to all the rad jams from the show, having a blast while at the same time satisfying that itch for an official soundtrack release. Well, I hate to break it to you but that is not this game.The easiest description of it is to call it Adventure Time: Rhythm Heaven. Except with much of the originality and fun of RH sucked out of it. Basically what we have here are Simon Says mini games with repetitive sounds instead of lyrics. You repeat patterns or sound ques back at the game in time with the music. It's the back and forth repetitive nature of these sounds that hurt the game. We are treated to beeps, claps, and weird sounds instead of the fun and silly lyrics we all would want out of an AT song. Oh and did I mention that each song is repeated across several levels getting minimally harder with very small changes? Yeah...It's not a completely terrible game, though. The Adventure Time charm shines through in the graphics and animation. Everything looks how you'd want it to regardless of how it sounds. And there is a little fun to be had with the mini games just...not a whole lot.The potential for an Adventure Time music game is HUGE but, sadly, it is not realized here.
