New in CarPlay:
Use RouteCast navigation in CarPlay for free! You can now use RouteCast navigation in CarPlay for a limited time before a Premium Features subscription (or a free trial subscription) is required. RouteCast navigation not only provides turn-by-turn driving directions, but it also alerts you to potentially hazardous road surface conditions along your route.
Trip handoff: When connected to CarPlay, create a route on your phone and start navigating on that same route in CarPlay with a single button press.
Detailed steps:
- Connect to CarPlay, open MyRadar on CarPlay.
- Open the app and navigate to RouteCast (toolbar at the bottom: "location" button > "car" button).
- Enter a destination and press "Show Route".
> Warning: Do not use your phone while driving. This feature should only be used while fully parked.
Recent locations:
- Our location search (a free feature for searching the map) now includes a list of recent locations to save you from entering something again.
- RouteCast location search (origin or destination) includes the same capability.
- Locations entered in CarPlay show up in the recent list too.
Fixes in 7.84:
- CarPlay: Fixes a bug that caused flickering on the map for some users.
- Fixes a bug that caused SPC Weather Outlook "hover legend" colors to not match the polygon colors on the map.
7.84.1:
- Fixes a bug that always prevented all users from uploading photos.
