Look & Feel are fabulous. I haven’t had any stability problems on iPhone 5. And this is exactly the kind of in-depth, tactical, nuanced gameplay that we need more of in iOS gaming. The problem is that the touch controls are a bit tricky. Double-tap to take out a guard. Double-tap to open a locker. What happens if you’re behind a guard and in front of a locker? Double-tap and be surprised! Who knows? Who can say? Sometimes, if I’m walking underneath a ladder, pressing up climbs the ladder. Sometimes it makes me jump forward, into the path of a guard. So this is frustrating, especially in a game with, more or less, permadeath. Anyway. Great game. I haven’t played the console version. But I gotta think they just couldn’t quite get the controls adapted well enough for touch.
