Community Highlights:

Quartz Pro and Wharton professor Adam Grant shared his NYT op-ed in the app, sparking a lively discussion around just how important is it for students to aim for straight A's. Adam argued that academic excellence is overrated and not a great indicator of longer-term success.

Parent and skincare startup 3toZen founder/CEO Sopiea Mitchell wrote: "I am in full agreement with Adam Grant and I have preached like a good preacher the same message to my daughter, but I have been fighting a losing battle...the message is being lost on many of our children, including my own, and their parents."

Anjil Giri, senior manager at TESARO, Inc., pointed out: "Many schools, including the famed Ivy's, routinely inflate the grades, employers value the GPAs and standardized test scores...It's easy to point out that straight A's aren't necessary and provide examples of a few people like Jobs, Gates, etc. and say they had 2.7 GPA. How many people with 2.5s have achieved the same name?"
