Played this with my sons (ages 10 and 12) today. The game plays through in about 10 minutes and gives the user just enough science for a basic understanding of type 2 diabetes. Following the game we talked about diabetes. My boys had questions about diabetes and heredity (specifically, can diabetes skip generations or members of a single family? Did Emily's brother have diabetes?) and wondered where their own diets ranked in healthy eating. While the game covered these topics very briefly, I like any game that makes my kids think!The art is fun. My younger boy went through the game a second time to see if there were any things he missed tapping on. We highly recommend this app for learning and talking about diabetes. Thank you!
