I have been waiting for a game that takes full advantage of the graphics capabilities of the iPhone and utilizes simple yet intuitive gameplay that doesn't feel clunky or cumbersome on a mobile device; After the End delivers this in spades. The stylized format and creativity in the characters and landscape are delightful and all together original, and the ability to shift perspective is so simple that you quickly begin to manipulate the camera angle without thinking. I am reminded of the fascination I felt the first time I played the Legend of Zelda in 3D on the Nintendo 64. In short, the seamless melding of game mechanics and graphics makes After the End a truly spectacular experience.
