v.6.15.0 of FiLMiC Pro includes new functionality and bug fixes for an even better shooting experience:

— New audio gain control for notched iPhones that support our full height audio meter!

• We have relocated the manual audio input gain slider on large screen wide-aspect iPhones from the timecode medallion to the full height VU audio meter. This means audio input gain control is now integrated directly into the VU meter for easy gain control.

• If your iPhone supports this, look out for the ‘What’s New’ alert upon first launch after updating. This will offer to link you through to more information.

• For those devices that do not support our full height audio meter, the audio gain control remains integrated into timecode medallion.

— Bug Fixes and Performance Enhancements

• Fixed the exposure pull to point direction being inverted.

• Torch intensity icon will now always match the selected intensity.

• On supported devices, we now default to HEVC on first launch after a clean install.

• We’ve greatly improved retiming speed for vertically shot video.

• In the rare event that a recording fails to start, we now will offer to auto generate an email with diagnostic information that you can share with our team for troubleshooting purposes.
