BETTER UNDER PRESSURE
We did some heavy tinkering on Discord's core infrastructure. All the bullets in this section are related to this.
Large servers perform better in general. CPU and network usage is about the same regardless of server size (whether a hundred people or a hundred thousand people).
This means Discord uses a lot less data now. Long live your data plan.
This also means Discord uses a lot less battery now. Longer live your battery life. Also, the iOS app loads faster.
Large Discord servers can now grow much larger. This one's for you, Fortnite.
Offline members are no longer hidden after you cross one-hundred members. We turned this off long ago for tech... and it is back. Offline lists in large servers are still hidden, though.
GOTTA GO FAST
SLOW SUCKS, so quickly switch between servers, DMs, and channels with the all new and literally named Quick Switcher.
Invite links now embed super cozy like a California king.
Password Manager support on login for that easy yet secure access.
You can now long press to copy links. Longawaited, amirite!?!?!??!!!!!
Xbox users can now connect their Xbox account to Discord to show what game they're playing on Xbox in Discord.
Invite links to voice channels now take you to the appropriate voice channel HOW CONVENIENT.
NSFW channel toggle is now available in channel settings.
