This app is the triumph of the "we'll launch something and see if it sticks" from Facebook developers. It's a perfect example of an app fuelled by the developers' hubris, with no thought on useability, and bereft of any sign of a coherent company strategy.This app is the triumph of the "we'll launch something and see if it sticks" from Facebook developers. It's a perfect example of an app fuelled by the developers' hubris, with no thought on usability, and bereft of any sign of a coherent company strategy.The developers thought they'd be clever by using novel ideas QR codes for invites, pick a name, any name, and zero verification. The result is an app that's strategically poorly thought through, unusable (I simply could not figure out how to invite someone to my room) and idiotic in execution. For example, I left a post saying "I don't get this app", and minutes later got a Whoa! (thumbs up) from Mark Zuckerberg. The real one? Really? Who knows. Who cares. Utterly bereft of consumer respect or company strategy.
