I grabbed EI on release day to check it out since I've enjoyed most of Backflip's games, and I have to say that I'm having fun so far. It's got some waiting involved, but that's standard to the 'management' genre of mobile games. Where EI excels compared to others of its type is the many goals you can work towards, such as faction scoring or the titan scoreboards. It also gives you incentive to check in while your heroes are adventuring in the form of crates that spawn over time containing both gold and gems, so while you can throw money at it for a quick currency boost anything can be gotten totally for free if you're patient. All in all I can definitely see myself sticking with EI for a while to see the content it has to offer.
