I've been looking forward to this ever since finishing The Hero Project trilogy, and the storyline, length, and sheer number of choices didn't disappoint. The writing is a solid 10/10, and I couldn't put it down my first play through, the tension and suspense is kept high through out.My biggest reason for writing a review is to give future players the heads up that there's some controversial material. There's a lot of anti-religious sentiment (as there was in Heroesfall) that while somewhat avoidable can feel like a bludgeon with how often it gets brought up.There are several non-gendered characters and I found the different pronouns jarring and distracting from the storyline. It felt inconsistent, switching between 'ze' 'zim' and 'zer' and the 'hir' variety of pronouns.There's also some non-graphic sexual content (which can be avoided) that probably should have bumped the rating up to 17+I was also grossed out at parts but that's me being squeamish. If none of those factors matter to you, I highly recommend the game! I've made the mistake of buying one or two games where I felt very uneasy about the content because there wasn't a warning in the review, hopefully this helps!
