What's New in Version 1.2
We’ve incorporated several new user-requested features in our latest release. Check them out:
Simplified contact search & new signal protocol makes it easier to search for contacts and create new signals.
Group Signaling Users can now create up to 9 groups and pre-load them into their wheel.
Signal Editing Users can now edit the recipients of a signal by tapping and holding down on a message icon in the wheel. Select edit or delete to modify the recipients.
Notifications In-app and iOS push notifications that alert users 1) when someone has shot a flare; 2) when someone has viewed a flare; and 3) when someone has not viewed a flare before it expired.
Map Interactions Improved map zoom-in/out functionality.
Interactive Tutorial For first-time users, we’ve included an in-app contextual tutorial that provides tips on the app’s core functions and gestures.
Help/FAQ Dive into the settings menu at the bottom of the home screen and scroll through the most commonly asked questions about Flares.
Bug Squashing Fixes associated with flare delivery and notification accuracy.
