New update!
This update is designed to help address some of the dictionary complaints we have had over the years. The game uses a version of the ENABLE word list that is employed by many other word games. W.E.L.D.E.R. is unique in that you can inadvertently weld a word you didn't intend to. That's part of the challenge! But we understand that can be frustrating and a waste of an undo when the word is obscure or has no definition. In an effort to strike a careful balance of the included words, we have streamlined the dictionary feedback to help us further refine and balance the dictionary. Keep in mind, proper nouns like Paris and Tuesday are not allowed, nor are brand names and trademarks, no matter how popular they are to use! For example, Freon, Zumba, and Velcro. We have also added a couple of hotly requested words to the word list: vape, emoji, dumpster, and majorly. Can you use all of those words in a sentence??
New feature: when tapping a word in the word tube, you can now request that the word be removed from the game.
New feature: you no longer have to use email or Twitter to request words be added to the game - they are just sent straight to the word laboratory.
New feature: after requesting a word be added or removed, you can view community word requests.
Bug fix: when closing the S.L.O.T.S., sound effects will now stop sound effecting.
Bug fix: when making your first word of a level or a turn with only one swap, you can now undo the word.
