The Photographer's Ephemeris version 4.7 Release Notes
- New: updated for iOS 13 and Dark Mode
- New: Skyfire map tiles are now served via a CDN for faster loading
- New: offline time zone detection
- New: app prompts at startup to reset date to today, if necessary (controllable in settings)
- Improved: better performance in AR 3D rendering
- Improved: Skyfire now displays at higher zoom levels when using Apple Maps
- Fix: real-time tracking was not cancelled on selecting an event or changing date on iPad
- Fix: rare crash while using Visual Search
- Updated SDKs
Dark mode: dark map styles are displayed for both Apple and Google maps when the "normal" default map type is selected (other maps types do not change appearance). Other UI elements and screens are altered for Dark Mode when it is selected. Remember, TPE's Night Mode is not the same thing as iOS 13's Dark Mode. Night Mode displays information relevant to night photography. Dark Mode alters the user interface to display with dark styling.
