Color Inversion inverts colors on IFR enroute charts, VFR Sectionals, procedure plates, airport diagrams, and documents, reducing eye strain while keeping text and icons prominently visible. Turn the setting on and off manually from the Maps, Plates, and Documents Settings menus.
Share Your Flying Adventures with Logbook Entry Summary
With Logbook Entry Summary, ForeFlight creates a beautifully designed web page showcasing your flight stats, a map of your route, and photos of your flight that you can share on social media or via email.
Additional Logbook Enhancements: More Ways to Streamline Data Entry and New Type Rating Currency Tracking
We continue to streamline flight logging to save you time and taps. It is now easier to lookup and add airport approaches to flight entries from a filtered list. In addition, when selecting the aircraft for a flight entry, a helpful Recent Aircraft list displays your three most recently logged aircraft first. You can now add single or multi-model type ratings to your Logbook Currency Summary for better visibility into your flight status.
ForeFlight is Your SIC with Helpful Destination Weather Frequency Callout
Like a good co-pilot, ForeFlight automatically displays the weather frequency as you approach your destination, giving you time to tune in and record details to prep for your landing. You can manage all alert settings in More > Settings > Alerts.
SiriusXM Reaches the Top with New Satellite Weather Layers
ForeFlight pilots flying with SiriusXM’s SXAR1 can steer clear of severe weather with access to two new products Cloud Tops and Echo Tops.
New Color Infrared Satellite Layer
You can now choose between two satellite layers: Enhanced and Color IR. The legacy Satellite layer is now Enhanced Satellite, and the new full-color infrared layer depicts cloud top temperatures, helping you determine where airframe icing conditions may exist.
New Climb Gradient Instrument
Add Climb Gradient to your ForeFlight Instrument Panel to monitor your climb performance in feet per nautical mile.
