Fast paced and pretty intense from the onset. Admittedly, I was a little overwhelmed at what was on my screen initially. But once I figured out the controllers and the missile button (my best friend in the game), it was on.In terms of progression, after 5 or 6 days of play, for maybe an hour, I've upgraded my plane over 50% and opened the next level. And not a penny paid. I'm not a huge IAP person, but that's just me. After each play, I usually hit the "watch video" button and I get a boost in my gold. Conveniently, the 15 sec vid gives me a moment to shake out my hands and readjust my eyes. So whatever.Last note, I've played both on my iPod touch and iPad. Definitely prefer the iPad more. And if you got headphones, throw 'em on.
