What's New in Myths of the World: Stolen Spring HD 1.0.1 >
This game is basically a conglomeration of several Russian myths. Baba Yaga, the witch who lives in a house perched on a chicken foot, even makes an appearance! The good witch wants Spring to arrive, but the bad witch wants to freeze the whole world. Along the way, you have a charming ermine companion, who often takes Found Objects and transforms them with her teeth until they become a useful object in your inventory. You meet dwarves, elves, and other helpful creatures. Each scene has coins to collect to purchase ermine toys. Puzzles are easy to average, and are varied types. The Hidden Object puzzles are normal, with some item combinations needed. I did find the storyline nonexistent at times, so I resorted to the Strategy Guide. You have a lovely paintbrush which, when charged up, melts ice and creates spring. The Hint and Skip buttons are helpful, with the Hint actually showing you which scene to pick, and asking if you want to go there. The Diary could have been more helpful, so I am only awarding four stars. However, I am having fun playing it, and I did purchase the game. Have fun thawing out!
