More About Unsplash App

Imagine if every photo you saw could be used freely for anything. No watermarks. No red tape. With the Unsplash app, that’s exactly what you get.

Find the perfect photo for your next project; whether it’s a term paper, a blog post, a presentation, or photo editing.

“The web’s premier free photo library”—WIRED
“One of the greatest resources.”—Forbes
“Simple, useful.”—The Next Web

Beautiful free photos

Search over a million beautiful free high-res photos that you can save and use for anything. Every photo is licensed under the Unsplash License, which allows for both personal and commercial use, so you can focus on creating.

Drag and Drop

Unsplash takes advantage of drag and drop on iPad. Once you find a photo you want to use, drag it to any app that supports drag and drop, like Keynote, Pages, and Notes.
We also made it fun to download a photo to your Photo Library: just drag and drop it to the bottom left corner. This works on iPhone too.

Make something awesome

Embellish your term paper, nail that perfect presentation, find the perfect image for your next blog post, catch eyes on social media, unleash your creativity remixing photos.

We built Unsplash as a way to empower creativity by sharing copyright-free photography. Today, Unsplash hosts some of the world’s most widely-seen photos, contributed by a community of some of the most talented (and most generous) creators in the world. Curiosity piqued? Come contribute a shot, or spend some time browsing. Make something awesome at https://unsplash.com.

What's New in Unsplash 2.5.1

  1. Did you create a collection with a typo? Or maybe there’s a temporary collection that you don’t need anymore? With this update, you can now edit and delete your collections.
  2. And for those who have a lot of collections, when you collect a photo, you can now search through your large collection of collections (pun intended) to find the one.
  3. We’ve also made some tweaks to the Stats view, and several more improvements here and there.
  4. —— Version 2.5.1 ——
  5. • Fixed a random issue logging out when opening the app.
