Note: Continued use of GPS can dramatically decrease battery life. Mapkin tries to save battery by shutting down if it’s in the background and you haven't driven for a while.

WE'VE ADDED SO MANY FEATURES WE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN.
We've built an incredibly smart list view.
We've added the ability to avoid tolls, highways and even ferries.
We've redesigned the way you preview routes.
And we've added a way for you to choose your destination from a map.
So let's get down to the nitty gritty.
Smart List View:
Now you can preview exactly which roads and routes you'll be taking before and while you take a drive.
We made sure to include all the right information so you can familiarize yourself to the route even before you start your car.
That means all the helpful tips that you send us while driving'll be visible right here for other users to see!
Avoiding tolls, highways, and ferries:
This is pretty self-explanatory. We heard you guys/gals request this and we made sure to do it right.
You can avoid tolls, highways, and ferries, and DONT WORRY they're saved until you change them again, so you never have to mess around with them every drive.
Redesigned Route Preview:
Now you can see your ETA, the distance of your route, and the main road you'll be taking to get there. We also made it a lot prettier.
Map Picker:
Ever forget the address of a place, but know where it is on a map? Well, now you can pick your destination from a map! Just press "Choose on Map" when you open Mapkin.
