• Added new ways to open new windows:
- Hold down Cmd when hitting Return on a selected project, area, or in-built list.
- Hold down Cmd when hitting Return on a project, area, to-do, tag, or in-built list in the Quick Find popover.
• Improved selection behavior in projects with headings:
- Cmd+A now works like the Mac – the first keystroke selects the immediate heading’s group, the second extends selection to the entire list.
- When the project is filtered by tag, its headings are now greyed out and excluded from selection.
- Tweaked what actions are available when both to-dos and headings are selected.
• Added support for Shift+Cmd+O to open lists.
• Fixed a crash that occured when attempting to move a checklist’s last item downwards via keyboard shortcut.
• Fixed a crash that could sometimes occur when updating lists, such as when deleting projects.
• Fixed a bug that prevented import from Todoist in some cases.

This update brings full compatibility with iPadOS 16, including finely-tuned window layouts and animations for the all-new Stage Manager feature.

• Added support for iPadOS 16’s new pop-up menu style when right-clicking in a notes field, which makes Things’ Markdown formatting much easier to get at.
• Fixed some animation glitches when dropping the + button into a list on iPadOS 16.
• Fixed some animation glitches when dropping in content from other apps on iPadOS 16.
• Fixed a bug where tapping into an expanded to-do on iPadOS 16 wouldn’t always scroll to reveal the text being edited.
