COINS ARE NOW INK
Ink is the new currency of Tapas, which we think better represents the spirit of our community (and our inky mascot). Much like the ink in the pens of traditional comic artists and story writers, Tapas ink helps power digital creators and connect them with their readers.
All existing coins have been converted 1:1 into ink, so your balance, unlocked episodes, and tips are unaffected by the update. No ink? Pick some up in the new Ink Shop, or check out the Free Ink section for special offers to earn ink.
TIPPING IS NOW SUPPORT
We’ve expanded the tipping feature to make it more social. Support is about more than tossing a handful of coins to someone – it’s also about the encouragement and personal connection attached.
Now, every time a fan supports a creator with Tapas ink, they can include a personal message and creators can reply. Neat!
