The Superlatives: Aetherfall version 1.0.1 Release Notes >

This story was very interesting, but I'm not sure it's fully debugged? Without spoilers, for example, there is a scene where a character reveals something to you and in a scene shortly after reveals it again as if he/she never told you earlier. There is another scene where you tell someone something about yourself and then you can tell them again later as if you never told them and they are surprised. These were obvious, but there were also a few choices that felt like they would be meaningful (e.g., you were warned against doing something given potential consequences), but whether you do it or not nothing different happens (I played both ways). Also, just a stylistic comment, for a lot of choices there seemed to be a lot of options intended to personalize the game rather than generate different outcomes (e.g., do you drink whiskey, beer, gin, water...). It felt a bit overdone and was distracting. This being said, I do not hold this against the game and this is not reflected in my rating. I know some people love this, but I prefer a (perhaps perceived) better balance of personalization choices and choices that impact the direction of your story.Otherwise, again, the story is very interesting. It is worth reading regardless. I will re-read a few more times myself if the bugs are fixed.
